5. Wanted To Be a Professional Tennis Player

While Topher Grace was in his teenage days, he wanted to become a professional tennis player as he always dreamt of becoming one since his childhood. Unfortunately, he had to give it up after he suffered an ankle injury. While talking about his acting transition, he revealed,

I just don’t know why people do films where they’re all alone because you’re missing an opportunity to really have a lot of people make you better and you can make them better. It’s sort of like a team sport.

And I was surprised and a little bit like ‘Huh?’ when they wanted me to play it. So when I look at it now, at the movie that’s coming out, I go ‘That’s the guy.’ In terms of how I think the guy should be played and who should play it.

Prior to getting married to actress wife, Ashley Hinshaw, he was in a dating relationship with President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump. He disclosed in a statement in July 2018 with The Daily Beast,
