Shaun So is famous for being the husband of American actor, Anna Chlumsky. Professionally, he is an American military veteran and entrepreneur who is currently working as the CEO of The So Company.
Born in 1980 to Asian immigrant parents, Shaun completed his BA degree in political science from the University of Chicago in 2003. Later on, he received an MBA degree from The City University of New York. He also learned Mandarin from Tsinghua University in 2001.
Shaun is a licensed Open Water Diver (license from PADI). He is also a Wilderness First Responder since January 2015.
Married College Sweetheart
Shaun So is in a longtime marital relationship with Emmy-nominated Veep star, Anna Chlumsky. They first met at a college party in 2000 after both of them joined the University of Chicago.
Due to So’s military service, the pair had to maintain a long-distance relationship. From 2004 to 2006, So was posted in Afghanistan. In October 2007, they got engaged and got married in a private ceremony on March 8, 2008, in Brooklyn, New York.
Father of Two
Shaun So has shared two kids with his wife, Anna Chlumsky and both of them are daughters. They are Penelope Joan and Clara Elizabeth.
So’s first child, Penelope Joan was born on July 11, 2013, in New York City.

Career
Shaun So started his career in June 2003 as an intelligence analyst for the Defense Intelligence Agency of the US Federal Government. He worked there till April 2006. From July 2006 to March 2009, he served as a defense contractor for McNeil Technologies.
Shaun was also a Counterintelligence Special Agent for the US Army between October 2003 and October 2011.
The former military co-founded an urban logistics start-up called, Cubby in June 2011. His company was started to help people manage their luggage. Their pop-up store provided people with a short-term storage facility for a charge. He remained its CEO from June 2011 to April 2012 until its closure.
So co-founded The So Company in 2012. Since April 2012, he has been working as the CEO of the content-driven service design company. He is also the co-founder of the Digital Services Coalition, a non-profit organization driven to accelerate the government’s digital transformation.
The entrepreneur worked as a Forbes contributor writing on topics spanning from entrepreneurship to veterans to business interest issues from May 2012 to December 2014.
