Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck is the second child of the ex-celebrity couple, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck.
Seraphina was born on January 6, 2009, in Los Angeles, California, and has two siblings: elder sister, Violet Affleck (b. December 1, 2005), and younger brother, Samuel Garner Affleck (b. February 2, 2012).
Meaning of Her Name
As both of her parents are Christians, Ben and Jennifer have given her a biblical name.
According to The Bump, Seraphina means ‘burning ones’ in Hebrew. According to the Jewish scriptures, the Seraphim are the highest-ranking angels of God with six wings and are known for their zealous love.
Close with Dad and Younger Brother
Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck is a bit close to her dad than her mom.
Seraphina is adorbale and super outgoing. She has more or a mischievous streak than the other two and is incredibly close to Ben.
Among her two siblings, she is close with her younger brother, Samuel Garner Affleck.
Although Seraphina may be a little bit of a rascal, she has been a good influence on her little brother.
Relationship of Her Parents
Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck’s parents, Benn Affleck and Jennifer Garner got married on June 29, 2005, in a private ceremony after dating since mid-2004.
Unfortunately, after 10 years of marriage, they separated in June 2015 and their divorce got finalized in October 2018.
Following their divorce, the duo is co-parenting their kids.

As of now, her mother is in a dating relationship with John Miller while her father is dating Jennifer Lopez.
Prior to getting married to Ben, Jennifer was married to actor, Scott Foley from 2000 to 2004. In the case of her dad, he dated his now girlfriend Jennifer in his past from 2002 to 2004.
Got Lice on Her Head
Seraphina Affleck and all of her family members got lice on their heads. While talking in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, her mother revealed about their lice issues.
She also revealed that her daughter’s school called her and asked her to pick Seraphina up from the school because she had lice all over her head.
Father’s Alcohol Addiction
Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck’s father had alcohol addiction in the past. He had to go through therapies and medications to get rid of his addiction.
In March 2017, her father took to his Facebook to share about his addiction and treatment. Though he has stayed sober for years, he last drank at a Halloween party in 2019.
