The duo was together for 15 years. Unfortunately, John’s death in 1994 saw an end to their relationship. Hobor has been single ever since.

Rosemary Margaret Hobor’s husband, John died at the age of 43 on March 4, 1994, in Durango, Mexico. He passed away due to a heart attack. At the time of his death, he was shooting Wagons East for Carolco Pictures.
A TV series called Autopsy: The Last Hours of … covered the story of his death in 2019. The episode, John Candy, was aired on March 2, 2019. Rob Locke and Ryan Carr portrayed the role of John.

Rosemary Margaret Hobor and her late husband welcomed two children together. Their first child was a daughter, Jennifer Candy, who was born on February 3, 1980. Similarly, their second child was Christopher Candy, who was born on September 23, 1984.
Jennifer is an American actress and producer. She is popular for her appearance in In Vino, Liv and Maddie, and Where’s This Party?.
As for her personal life, she is married to Bryan Sullivan since October 27, 2012. They share a son, Finley Candy Sullivan.
Christopher is also an American actor. He is known for his work in Where’s This Party?, Contracted, and To the Stones.
He learned acting from Groundlings, Second City, and Upright Citizens Brigade. Currently, he performs with the improv team, DAZL from Second City. Chris is also a host of KXLU 88.9‘s weekly music program, Neuz Pollution.
Besides, he is also the creator and co-host of the podcast, Bumper 2 Bumper alongside Rick Darge. The show has 72 episodes as of this writing.
Career as a Material Artist
Rosemary Margaret Hobor has been working as a contemporary artist since long back. She has been involved in drawing, painting, and photography for more than four decades.
During the ’70s, she conducted workshops, critiques, and delivered lectures as a visiting artist through the Creative Visiting Artists in Schools, Ceramics program after receiving a grant from Ontario Arts Council for seven years.
She has done art shows at Montana Street Art Show in Santa Monica, Rose Candy Studio/Gallery in California, and Brentwood Art Centre Group Shows in Brentwood, among other art studios. She’s also done commission works for Kelley Murray Greenhouse in Chicago, Lu Lu Lemon in LA, Flying Circus Restaurant in Toronto, and Second City Firehall Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
Currently, she runs her own studio, Rose Candy Studio/Gallery at 26th Street, Santa Monica, California.
From her career as a visual artist, she has been able to earn around $2 million. Adding that to the $15 million left by her husband after his death, her net worth totals to an estimated $17 million.
