Nick Hagen is the husband of cookbook author and TV show host, Molly Yeh.
Nick was born on the border of Minnesota and North Dakota in 1987 and grew up in Grand Forks. His father is Roger Hagen.
Husband of Molly Yeh
Nick Hagen met Milly Yeah at the Juilliard School of the Performing Arts in New York City when they were students. Yeh was studying percussion while Hagen was studying trombone.
Molly had revealed about her first date with Nick on her blog.
We were students at Juilliard and our first date was a big long bike ride out to rockaway beach. When i’m around him i smile so hard my face hurts.

After living together in Brooklyn, they moved to Hagen’s farm in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, in 2013. While talking with Glamour in October 2019, she revealed how her partner brought up the idea of living on a farm which initially gave her the idea of making blogging a real thing.
When Nick brought up the idea of moving to the farm, I thought, ‘Oh my gosh. I could spend my days blogging. And that was the moment when I thought that it really could become a real thing.
One year later, they got married on December 27, 2014, and live on Hagen’s family’s sugar beet farm, which supplies ingredients for many of Yeh’s recipes.
Father of Two
Nick Hagen has two kids with his wife, Molly Yeh and they are Bernadette Rosemary Yeh Hagen and Ira Dorothy Yeh Hagen.
Their first daughter, Bernadette, also called Bernie, was born on March 30, 2019. Molly officiated the news of her birth via Instagram.
Meet Bernie!! 💕🧸👶🏻💖 Bernadette Rosemary Yeh Hagen arrived promptly and calmly on her due date (today!) at 1:30am, weighing 7 lb 6 oz. We are so wildly in love!

Their second daughter, Ira was born on February 20, 2022, at 9:20 am, between two snowstorms. At the time of her birth, she was 8 pounds 12 ounces and 21 1/2 inches.

Education
After finishing his high school graduation, Nick joined the Julliard School, a private performing arts conservatory situated in New York City. He also majored in music and was a part of the university’s orchestra group.
Trombonist and Sugar Beets Farmer
Nick Hagen, the UND orchestra member is also a sugar beet farmer at his family’s farm in Grand Forks. For the past five generations, his family has been involved in sugar beet harvesting. He is devoted to farming and works round the clock to keep everything running smoothly. During harvest season, Hagen works up to 16 hours a day in the field.
Also, he and his wife are opening a restaurant in fall 2022. They have named their restaurant after their first child, Bernie’s.
Egg Lover
Molly Yeh calls her husband, Eggboy since he loves eggs.
He earned the name egg boy a while back when he was eating zillions of eggs a day.
Nick developed a love for eggs because of Zac Efron.
It started with Zac Efron, Zac Efron’s abs, and a cholesterolly-free-spirited dietician who allowed it to go on record in an issue of Men’s Health that for Zac Efron to achieve his big bulky body for The Lucky One, he should probably eat a dozen eggs every single day.
