Miles William Guggenheim is the son of actor couple, Davis Guggenheim and Elisabeth Shue.
Miles was born on November 11, 1997, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. From 2016 to 2020, he enrolled at Brown University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Culture and Media & Creative Writing.
Named After Elisabeth’s Brother
Miles was named after his mother’s late brother, William Shue. He tragically died from a freak swing accident on August 24, 1988. William was on vacation with his family during the dreadful accident. The accident was closely witnessed by Elisabeth’s brother Andrew Shue.
Two Younger Siblings
Miles William Guggenheim has two younger sisters: Stella Street Guggenheim (b. March 2001) and Agnes Charles Guggenheim (b. June 18, 2006).
His sister Stella attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Back in May 2019, she displayed her artwork at the Santa Monica Art Studio.

Grandfather was a Documentary Film Director
His grandfather Charles was an Oscar-winning documentary director who received four prestigious Oscar Awards from twelve nominations. Initially, Guggenheim suffered from dyslexia, but he later recovered. Before finding his true passion for directing, he served in the United States Army. He died at the age of 78 on October 9, 2002, in Washington, D.C.

Miles’s parents Davis and Elisabeth have been married for a long time. They shared their vows in 1994 after a short period of dating. They first met in a bowling alley. There was an immediate connection between the two.

Miles’s parents, Davis and Elisabeth have a combined net worth of $20 million. In 2004, his parents bought a house in the Sunset Strip area for $1.3 million. They also bought a $1.65 million mansion in 2008.
