Michael Marin Rivera is the son of Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera and Jose Trinidad Marin. He is also known for being the brother of singer, Chiquis Rivera.
Born Trinidad Angelo Marin Rivera on September 11, 1991, in Long Beach, California, he was raised alongside four siblings. He completed his schooling at Lower Merion High School.
Four Siblings: Two Half and Two Biological
Michael Marin Rivera is the youngest son of Jenni Rivera and Jose Trinidad Marin. He has two elder sisters, Janney Marin Rivera AKA Chiquis Rivera (b. 1985), and Jacqueline AKA Jacqie Campos (b. 1989).
He has two step-siblings from his mother’s marriage with Juan Lopez. They are Jenicka Lopez (b. 1997), and Juan Angel AKA Johnny Lopez (b. 2001).
Father of One
Michael Marin Rivera welcomed his only daughter, Luna Amira Marin Ibarra on August 28, 2012. He shared his daughter with his former partner, Drea.

Career as a Muralist
Michael Rivera is a muralist famous for the moniker, Michelangelo. He paid tribute to his late mother through a mural at 5459 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, California.

Legal Issues
Michael Marin Rivera was arrested for a molestation case back in 2010. Later on, he pled guilty to sex with a minor. At that time, he was 19 and the girl was 16.
On February 21, 2013, he was arrested for vandalism in Washington Avenue, Miami Beach at around 3 am. He was seen tagging a sign with a marker and placing a sticker on another sign. He was later released on a $1,000 bond.
Relationship of His Parents
Michael’s parents, Jose Marin and Jenni Rivera got married in 1984 after dating for a few months. The pair were married for eight years.

Jenni and Jose parted ways in 1992 due to physical violence. Marin wanted Rivera to leave college and stay at home with his kids but the latter had other things in mind. This resulted in Jose using physical violence, which eventually ended their relationship.
Mother Died in a Plane Crash
Michael Marin Rivera lost his mother, Jenni Rivera on December 9, 2012, in a plane crash near Iturbide, Nuevo Leon. His mom was returning to Toluca from Monterrey Arena in Learjet 25 after a concert. However, after a minute of takeoff, the aircraft lost its control, and six other people lost their lives in the crash.
Father Sentenced to Jail for 31 Years
In 2007, his father, Jose Trinidad Marin was sentenced to jail for around 31 years. He was charged with three counts of lewd act upon a child, three counts of oral copulation of a child, one count of sexual assault, and one count of aggravated sexual assault.
