Meghan was born as the first child to Sean Payton and his first wife, Beth Shuey on March 20, 1997. In 2015, she joined Pepperdine University and from there, she completed her degree in Media Production and Sports Broadcasting in 2019.

Meghan Payton’s parents, Beth and Sean first met in 1990 and started dating. On July 11, 1992, they shared their vows after a year and a half of dating. However, one month before their 20th anniversary, they parted ways and divorced.
Following their divorce, her mother started dating real estate broker, Jamie McGuire and got married on September 20, 2020. On the other hand, her father tied the knot with Skylene Montgomery on June 19, 2021, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Father Stepped Away from Being a Head Coach
Meghan Payton’s father, Sean Payton is stepping away from his head coach position at New Orleans Saints. He announced his retirement on January 25, 2022, after guiding his team for 16 seasons.

On January 28, 2022, Netflix released a sports comedy titled Home Team based on her father, Sean Payton.

Meghan’s boyfriend, Christopher Titone, and Keith Blum wrote the movie. Similarly, Charles and Daniel Kinnane directed it. Kevin James portrayed Sean and Tait Blum played Connor.
