Sandra Bullock adopted Laila Bullock in 2015 from foster care in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was 3 and a half years old at the time.

Sandra never thought she would adopt another child but, while talking to one of her friends, her son intervened saying he didn’t have a daughter but he was soon going to have a baby.
He goes, ‘No, I don’t have a daughter, but I’m gonna have a baby soon.’ And I realized at that time maybe he knew something. And when I think about it, it would’ve been around the time that Laila was born.”
Well, Bullock went on to adopt Laila afterward. But, adopting her required a lot of patience and reassurance that they would never leave her.
Elder Sibling, Louis
Laila Bullock, who has PTSD, has an elder sibling, Louis Bardo Bullock. He was born in January 2010 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her mother, Sandra Bullock adopted him soon after his birth.

Four Step-Siblings
Laila Bullock has three step-siblings, Sunny, Jesse Jr., and Chandler James from her mother, Sandra Bullocks’ ex-partner, Jesse James‘ former relationships. Similarly, she also has another sibling, Skylar Staten Randall, from her mom’s current partner, Bryan Randall‘s previous relationship.
Bullock parted ways with Jesse in 2010 just before adopting Louise. Following their separation, Jesse’s kids stayed with Bullock and her son. Though they aren’t together anymore, Sandra hopes all of her children stay in touch with each other.

Laila is just unafraid. She’s a fighter, and that’s the reason she’s here today. She fought to keep her spirit intact. Oh my god, what she is going to accomplish. She’s going to bring some real change.
In 2020, during the Red Table Talk, Laila made a rare appearance with her mother and thanked frontline workers for their work.
