Keiko Agena is a Japanese American actress best known for her appearance on the WB/CW TV series, Gilmore Girls as Lane Kim, the best friend of Rory Gilmore portrayed by Alexis Bledel.
Born as Christine Keiko Agena to Japanese parents on October 3, 1973, in Honolulu, Hawaii, the Libra born actress already has had 68 acting credits under her name. The lady who attended the Mid-Pacific Institute Preparatory School in O’ahu and Whitman College for a year as a Drama Major started her acting career at the age of 10 and since then, she’s been rocking it in the industry.

To tell you the truth, the duo never walked down the aisle, instead, they married in a helicopter over the Las Vegas, Nevada on December 19, 2005. And the crazy thing is that Agena got engaged to Kawasaki only after a month of dating.
It’s already been 14 years of their marital relationship and the lovebirds seem as happy as they could be. On December 20, 2015, Keiko took to her Instagram to share a collage with her beau. She captioned it, “A special night, ten years in the making.”

Agena started her acting career at the age of 10, but she got her TV debut at 20 years of age in a 1993 TV series, Renegade, where she appeared as Mitsuko. Two years later, she made her movie debut from Terror in the Shadows.
It wasn’t until 2000, that Agena got her breakthrough role; the role of Lane Kim / Lane Van Gerbig in the TV series, Gilmore Girls. She appeared in a total of 154 episodes till 2007. The same series was revisited in 2016 by Netflix and she was cast in the new Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life for four episodes.
Since Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham earned over $750 thousand per episode from the show, Keiko might have also earned somewhere around $300 thousand to $600 thousand since she was also one of the regulars of the show.

Besides Amazon, Keiko also earned from Etsy. Yes, you heard that, right! She sold three of her art pieces through Etsy. Her artworks were sold just two days after it’s listing for $250 each.

Even now, she sells her artworks but, now she doesn’t list them on Etsy. On October 27, 2017, she took to her IG to share a couple of her sketches which was sold at the Gilmore Girls fanfest. According to her caption, the $5,000 earned from the sale of her art was donated to Disaster Relief for Puerto Rico.
