Kay Kinsey Malone is a former supermodel who won the title of Miss Idaho USA in 1988. She is also famous for being the wife of the popular American retired basketball player, Karl Malone.
Malone was born to Celestina and Bob Kinsey. Her parents moved to the United States from the Philippines in 1962 after their marriage. They initially lived in San Antonio but permanently settled down in Idaho Falls in 1983.
Kay grew up with her three siblings including a sister, Sharon Kinsey. She lost her mother in July 2009 after losing her battle with colon cancer. She has been suffering from cancer since 1999.
Married to Karl Malone for Three Decades
Kay Kinsey Malone has been married to Karl Malone since December 24, 1990, in Malone’s home in Salt Lake City. The couple went on a short Christmas vacation in Wendover, Nevada, soon after their marriage. They celebrated their honeymoon only a year after in Alaska.
The duo first met at a downtown shopping mall during an autograph session in Salt Lake City in 1989. Her brother-in-law was the one, who first told her about Karl. Kay’s sister set Malone and her up after sending her photo as Miss Idaho and a letter pretending to be her.
Kay and Karl started dating soon after and got married several months later.
Mother of Four
Kay Kinsey has welcomed four kids with her husband, Karl Malone; Kadee, Kylee, and K.J, and Karlee Malone.
Their first child, daughter, Kadee was born on November 8, 1991. She is 30 and is now engaged to her boyfriend, Cedric Johnson since early 2020. She started her merchandise business which sells Dominican Cigars, homemade Vape Juices, and Hemp Oils.

Karl and Kay welcomed their second child, Kylee on April 7, 1993. After two years, they gave birth to their son, K.J. Malone.
Their fourth child, Karlee was born in 1998. She is now engaged to Brent Diaz. Her partner is currently a player at Milwaukee Brewers.

Has Three Step-Children
Kay Malone also has three step-kids from her husband’s previous relationship. Her step-twins, Daryl and Cheryl Ford were born on June 6, 1981, to Karl and his former partner, Bonita Ford.
Her third stepchild is Demetress Bell born to Kinsey and Gloria Bell.
Suffered from Kidney Stone
In February 2021, Kay Kinsey suffered from a kidney stone which caused kidney failure. Her son updated her health improvement through his Twitter saying she is doing well.
She wanted me to tell everyone what happened, she had two kidney stones that got stuck and it caused her to go into kidney failure, it then caused an infection that spread to her blood stream and she went into septic shock. It was honestly really bad, and we did almost lose her. But God is so good and she is doing so much better and is on her road to recovery. She is talking, walking and making jokes again! She still has a way to go but she’s doing so well! Thank you so much for all the prayers and kind words. We will keep you all updated. She says she’s thankful for all the prayers and love!

We are unsure about Kay Kinsey’s individual net worth; however, we know that she shares a whopping $75 million fortune with her husband, Karl Malone.
Karl Malone’s wife started her career as a cheerleader. In 1988, she won the Miss Idaho USA competition and later worked as the director of pageants.
At the moment, she is helping her husband run his business. Her partner is the owner of Arby’s in Ruston, Louisiana. He also owns a car dealership called, Karl Malone Toyota in Salt Lake City. The former athlete is also the owner of three Jiffy Lube franchises in Utah.
