5. High School Wrestling
This might come as a surprise to many of his fans, but Jorge Garcia dabbled in wrestling during his high-school days. He attended San Clemente High school in California, where he developed a knack for wrestling.
As a wrestler, Garcia was nicknamed “Baby- faced Killer.” His nickname suggests that despite his sweet-looking face, Jorge packed a punch when it came to the ring.
I wrestled in high school. They called me Baby-Faced Killer because of my cherub-like demeanor. Later I got this big curly hair, and they started calling me Afro Man.

4. Struggle for Fame
In 1992, Jorge Garcia was a fresh graduate from UCLA looking for his shot at fame. But, success did not come over-night for him. Garcia worked at Borders Book and Music for six years while auditioning simultaneously.
Jorge acted in a few commercials during this time. He recalls,
I would have to take these long lunches, like two hours, to go to auditions. I kept pushing that line, and they started busting me on it.
Thankfully for Garcia, his supervisor was supportive. Eventually, he landed roles on shows like Becker and Curb on Enthusiasm, and then the rest, as they say, is history.
3. Married to Rebecca
Jorge Garcia has had a few public relationships throughout the years. He dated Malia Hansen from 2004-2006. He was later linked with his lost co-star Bethany Leigh Shade, but the pair broke up in 2013.

The Ridiculous 6 star then started dating Rebecca Birdsall. After dating more than four years, the pair decided to tie the knot on June 22, 2019. The wedding ceremony was held in Leixlip Manor, Ireland, in front of their family and friends.
The pair are now living together happily. Jorge and his wife are a perfect match for each other. They both have a shared love for Halloween and dogs.
2. Pet Tragedy
The Hawaii Five-O star is a huge dog lover. During his Lost days, Jorge had a Chihuahua named Nunu. However, in a tragic accident, Nunu was hit by a car on their way to the airport. This happened on the day; he was moving to Los Angeles from Hawaii after bidding farewell to the show, Lost.
It breaks my heart to tell you that yesterday, as we were preparing to all, go to the airport, Nunu was struck by a car as she crossed the street. She died in my arms.

Jorge currently has two pets named Monkey and Smidge. They are Chihuahua/ Beagle mix. Garcia frequently posts pictures and videos of his beloved dogs on Instagram.

Apart from acting and stand-up comedy, Jorge Garcia also hosts a podcast titled Kaiju podcast. He and his co-host Ralph Apel talk about Kaiju films on it.
