Jane filed for divorce on October 20, 2011, in Los Angeles Superior Court just nine months into their marriage. The reason? “Irreconcilable differences.”

Apart from her appearance on the American Idol, she has a band named The Jane Carrey. In 2009, her band released a self-titled album. One of her songs, Sticky Situation, also featured on her dad’s movie, Dumb & Dumber To’s soundtrack.

The 35-year-old has also played as a playback singer for her dad’s Jim Carrey: I Needed Color. The movie was a short documentary about her dad.

Besides, Jane has also worked as a waitress for a number of years.
