He was born on April 15, 2004, via IVF. He has a twin brother named Xavier Musk.
Why was He Conceived via IVF?
Griffin Musk’s parents decided to welcome their kids via In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) after they lost their first child, Nevada Alexander Musk at 10 weeks. The reason for Nevada’s death was due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in a hospital in Orange County.

A few months after Nevada’s passing, Elon and Justine decided to go through IVF to conceive a baby.
I buried my feelings instead, coping with Nevada’s death by making my first visit to an IVF clinic less than two months later. Elon and I planned to get pregnant again as swiftly as possible.
Has Younger Triplets
Apart from his twin brother, he also has three triplet brothers, Damian, Saxon, and Kai Musk who were born in 2006. All of them were conceived through IVF.
Parents’ Unsuccessful Relationship
Griffin Musk’s parents, Elon and Justine shared their vows in Jan 2000. They first met at college.
The CEO of Tesla approached Justine first and asked her out. But, she denied him several times only to go out later on. The pair started living together in an apartment and got married several months later.
After eight years of marriage, they divorced in Sept 2008. Following their separation, they shared joint custody of their kids.
Parents’ Relationship after Divorce
Following their divorce, Griffin’s mother has preferred to stay away from the media and also doesn’t seem to have been involved in any kind of relationship. But his father has gone through several relationships.
Soon after his separation from Justine, Elon started dating, Talulah Riley and got married in 2010. After two years, in 2012, they separated and remarried in 2013. However, his second marriage also didn’t work. Hence, the pair separated and finalized their divorce in 2016.
From the recent Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard case, it has been revealed that in 2017, Elon dated the latter for some months. Depp had accused Musk of having an affair with the Aquaman actress while Amber and Johnny were still married. But Musk and Heard denied having affairs.
As of now, he is in an on-and-off relationship with Claire Elise Boucher (aka Grimes).

Two Half-Siblings
Griffin Musk has two half-siblings from his father’s relationship with Claire Elise Boucher (aka Grimes). They welcomed their first child, a son named X AE A-XII in May 2020. The following year, they gave birth to their second daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk in December 2021 via surrogacy.
Education
Griffin Musk has joined a school named Ad Astra created by his own father. The school was founded in 2014 by Musk and a retired teacher, Joshua Dahn. Musk opened the school to educate his kids and the children of SpaceX employees.
While talking about the education system and his motive, he said,
Indeed, there are no qualifications, instead of treating the school as an assembly line, I think it makes more sense to attend to education to match your skills and student abilities.
Their school mainly focuses on courses like Artificial Intelligence, coding, and design.
