Evan James Springsteen is famous for being the son of American icon singer, Bruce Springsteen and his wife, Patti Scialfa.
Born on July 25, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, he went to Ranney School and Rumson Country Day School. In 2012, he completed his music degree from Boston College, a private Jesuit research university.

He is the grandson of Douglas Frederick “Dutch” Springsteen (1924–1998) who served as a bus driver and held other jobs and Adele Ann (née Zerilli) (born 1925).
Into Music
Being born into a family of musicians, Evan James Springsteen also developed his interest in music. He has also shared the stage with his father several times.
During Boston College’s Arts Festival, he won the 2012 Singer/ Songwriter Competition. He also served as a program director and festival producer on Sirius XM Radio.
Parents Relationship
Evan James Springsteen’s parents, Bruce and Pattie shared their vows on June 8, 1991, after one year of welcoming their first child. Since then the pair is going very strong.
Talking about their love story, they first met at the famous New Jersey bar, The Stone Pony in 1980. Patti joined Bruce’s E Street Band and became the only female member of the band.
Prior to getting wed to his mother, his father was previously married to Julianne Phillips from 1985 to 1989.

Jessica Springsteen
Evan’s sister Jessica Springsteen was born on December 30, 1991. She is famous as an American equestrian and showjumping champion rider. As of now, she is No. 14 in the world in FEI’s showjumping rankings.

In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Jessica represented Team USA in team jumping and individual events and received a silver medal in team jumping.

Sam Ryan Springsteen
Evan also has a younger brother named Sam Ryan Springsteen who was born on January 5, 1994. Professionally, he is a New Jersey City firefighter. In January 2020, he received the prestigious title during the City Hall Ceremony along with fifteen others.
Evan and his two siblings featured on Bruce’s 2002 song Down in the Hole as backup singers.
Almost Drowned
When Evan was around 15 years old, forest rangers had to pull him from the Adirondack lake after his kayak overturned on July 2, 2006, in Lake Placid.
Forest rangers spotted an overturned kayak at some distance from the shore during a routine patrol. When they pulled it up, they found Evan in the water. They took him to the rented lakeside camp where his family was staying.
