5. Younger Son of Shari and Richard Fogler

The Fantastic Beasts actor Dan Fogler is the younger son of the surgeon Richard Fogler and teacher Shari Fogler. Dan, whose real name is Daniel Kevin Fogler, grew up in South Brooklyn alongside his older brother (who’s a psychologist in Massachusetts), but, in 2000, he and his family moved to Midtown Manhattan.

Fogler’s father, who was the chairman of the surgery department at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, also wanted to be an actor during his younger days, and so he had joined a high school for performing arts but future beheld something else for him. Both of his parents, Richard and Shari, are huge supporters of Dan; they were even present at all of the theater performances of the actor during the early phase of his career.

The Walking Dead actor Dan Fogler is a married man. He walked down the aisle with his wife, Jodie Capes, on October 10, 2009. His spouse is a career coach and an entrepreneur who co-founded Capes Coaching to coach artists and actors.

Though there’s not much detail about their love life, it is believed that the duo started dating in 2001. During his Tony acceptance speech in 2005, Dan addressed his partner saying, “She’s my Adrian.”

Together the couple bore two kids, both daughters. Their first child is Edi Fogler, 7, while their younger daughter is Angel Fogler.

The Jewish actor had an astounding start to his career. In 2005, at the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, he debuted on a Broadway show as William Barfee. This role was a gamechanger for the actor.
