Buckley Carlson is known for being the son of the American TV host and political commentator, Tucker Carlson.
Buckley, who was born in 1997 in Virginia, was named after Tucker’s younger brother, Buckley Swanson Peck Carlson. He has three siblings, an elder sister, Lillie (b. 1995), and two younger sisters, Hopie (b. 1999) and Dorothy Carlson (b. 2002).

Working under Rep. Jim Banks
Buckley Carlson is currently working as the Communications Director for Jim Banks, the US Representative for Indiana’s 3rd congressional district. He was promoted to the communications director position recently in January 2021.
Carlson started working under Banks in July 2019 with an entry-level job as an assistant. He went on to get promoted to Press Secretary by January 2020 and Communications Director by January 2021.

Squabble with a Middle-Aged Man
Buckley Carlson and his dad, Tucker Carlson got into a quarrel with a gay Latino man when the Carlson family was having dinner at Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2018.
His younger sibling, Hopie, went to the bathroom with a friend toward the end of the meal and on their way back, a middle-aged man stopped her and asked her if she was sitting with Tucker. When she said it was her dad, the man insulted her saying “Are you Tucker’s who**re?”, and also called her “f***ing c**t.”
Hopie returned to the table in tears and Buckley went into the bar to confront the man. Carlson threw a glass of red wine in the man’s face and told him to leave the bar. Tucker then described the event to the club’s management and after investigation, the middle-aged man’s membership was revoked.
I think any father can understand the overwhelming rage and shock that I felt seeing my teenage daughter attacked by a stranger. But I restrained myself. I didn’t assault this man, and neither did my son.

The incident caused a huge controversy. It was even rumored that Tucker spitted racist comments towards the man. Talking about the rumors, Carlson revealed that he didn’t know the man was gay or Latino and even if he knew, it wouldn’t be any different.
Relationship of His Parents
Buckley Carlson’s parents, Tucker Carlson and Susan Thomson Carlson (nee Andrews), first met at St. George’s School during their high school days and have been together ever since. The duo tied the knot on August 10, 1991, in the school chapel.
