Have you watched School of Rock? Not the movie, but the TV series that aired on Nickelodeon for two years from March 12, 2016, to April 8, 2018. If you’ve, then you might know Breanna Yde, who appeared as Tomika for the full 45 episodes of the show.
Yde is still in her teenage years, but she’s already appeared in over 19 acting credits to date. Out of her credits, she’s more famous for her roles in School of Rock and Malibu Rescue. For her appearance in School of Rock, she even got nominated for two awards.

5. Daughter of Bill Yde
Gina from Malibu Rescue, Breanna Yde, is the daughter of the CEO of the Global Traffic Network, Bill Yde, and his wife, whose name is still out on the shadows. She was born on June 11, 2003, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, as the youngest of six kids. Yde has three older brothers and two older sisters.

Breanna has multiple nationalities, one of the US and the other of Australia. Though she was born in Australia, she’s of Aussie and Filipino descent credits to her Australian father and half Filipino mother.
When she was two years old, Breanna and her family moved to Los Angeles, and when she was five, they moved back to Rancho Santa Fe, California. Eventually, they went back to the LA and settled there in 2012.
4. Love for Acting and Her Professional Career
Breanna Yde wanted to be an actor since she was still a child. She always wanted to become an actor and so, when she was little, she pretended she was Tom Cruise and acted doing stunt scenes for the movie Mission Impossible.
Well, imitating Tom Cruise did work for, right, since she already has 19 acting credits to her name. Her debut was in the short movie, Social Studies in 2009. A year later, she appeared as Young Sibby Dark in Level 26: Dark Prophecy.
One of her first breakthrough roles were in Santa Hunters as Zoey in 2014 and The Haunted Hathaways (TV series) as Frankie Hathaway from 2013-2015. 2016 was the best year for her as she got to star in School of Rock and The Loud House.
Yde appeared in Malibu Rescue in 2019, and the same year, she appeared as Gina on the TV series of the same name. She’s already finished shooting for the sequel, Malibu Rescue: The Next Wave, which is set to release on August 4, 2020.
3. A Singer and a Musician
The 5 feet 4 inches tall actress Breanna Yde isn’t just an actor; she’s a singer and musician as well. She just loves singing and learning new musical instruments. At the moment, she knows how to play the piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, and the trumpet as well.
Yde has her own YouTube channel, which has a whopping 2.96k subscribers for just three videos. In one of her videos, which you can see above, she sings a cover of Demi Lovato‘s Sorry Not Sorry.
2. Dating Anyone?
Nope! Breanna Yde is just 17 years old, so she’s still striving for success without letting things like relationships get to her.
